The Future Business Leaders of America students from Mount Dora High School proudly represented their school at the District 10 Competition and Awards Ceremony on January 24, 2026 — and brought home the gold for MDHS!
During the event, District Officers for the 2026–2027 school year were elected. Mount Dora High School’s Harper Bracewell was inducted as District President, and Emma Matulia was inducted as District Parliamentarian — an incredible achievement for both students and the chapter.
MDHS also earned top honors in the District Chapter Awards. The chapter received 1st Place for the District Nametag, designed by Leonardo Mares and Jake Brough, and 2nd Place for the District Poster, created by Raeghan Fickett. The poster beautifully captured this year’s FBLA theme, “Polished to Perfection.” In the highly anticipated District 10 rivalry for the Poster and Nametag competitions, MDHS students truly lived up to the theme — they were polished to perfection!
